Jim is our business manager, overseeing the behind-the-scenes work that keeps Prickly Pear Dental Care organized and moving in the right direction. From staffing, finances, and insurance to planning, marketing, and other big-picture business decisions, Jim focuses on the administrative side of the practice so that our clinical team can stay focused on what matters most—taking great care of our patients.

Jim was born and raised in New Jersey and lived all over the United States and abroad before settling down here in El Paso with his wife Dr. Flores in 2019. He has a bachelor’s degree in international studies and a master’s degree in history, and he’s the incredibly proud father of two young boys. In his (admittedly rare) spare time, he enjoys hiking in the Franklin Mountains and playing and listening to music.

Not only does Soreli play critical roles in both our clinical and administrative operations, but she's also been a part of the Prickly Pear Dental Care team since the very first day we opened our office. As such, she's had a truly integral role in growing our practice into what it is today! Originally our lead dental assistant, Soreli is now our office manager, overseeing day-to-day operations and coordinating the many systems that help keep Prickly Pear Dental Care running smoothly.

In her free time, Soreli is a big sports fan, particularly enjoying football, baseball, and soccer (go Chiefs, Dodgers, and Real Madrid!). She also likes cooking and baking, and she deeply values quality time spent with her family.

Miguel is our lead dental assistant here at Prickly Pear Dental Care. Originally from Ciudad Juárez, Miguel has lived in El Paso for several years and brings a strong background in dentistry to his role, having trained as a dentist in Mexico. He was drawn to dentistry because he enjoys helping people care for their oral health and seeing patients leave the office with a smile.

Outside work, Miguel enjoys spending time with his wife, going for walks with their dog, playing pickleball, watching soccer, and listening to music, especially techno house. He also loves Mexican food, although he’s always happy to enjoy a good slice of pizza too!

Ariadne—or Ari for short—is a dental assistant at Prickly Pear Dental Care. Born and raised right here in El Paso, while she’s currently the newest member of our team, her interest in dentistry began quite a while ago! She started working in a dental office as a summer job while still in high school, and she became more interested in the field by watching dental assistants work with patients. Nowadays, Ari especially enjoys helping our patients to feel comfortable and at ease during their visits.

Outside the office, Ari enjoys spending time with loved ones and getting outdoors with her dog, a border collie named Chapo. She especially likes taking him to the park, and going on long walks whenever she gets the chance!
